Marlborough History

This Marlborough local history content has been made possible due to the generous support of the following:

The Family and Friends of Jim Considine - This area of our website is dedicated to the memory of James Considine. Jim was a longtime resident of Marlborough who loved the town, it's history and shared this fondness through his writings. We thank his family and friends for their financial support of this project.

Heartfelt thanks also go to: State Senator Mary Ann Handley for her support and interest in local history, The Connecticut Trust for Historic Preservation for support through their HPTAG Grant Program, The Marlborough Historical Society, Joseph Giggey, Jodi Polsgrove, Project Archivist, and David Ransom for his generosity in allowing our use of his survey - Historic and Architectural Resources, Survey Town of Marlborough, April 1998.
