Birth/Death Location: Marlborough, Connecticut / Volusia County, Florida(?)
Notable For: William Richmond moved from Marlborough to find work, and ended up in Scranton, Pennsylvania. After working as a clerk in store's, he eventually made a fortune in anthracite coal mining.
Description: This image was taken from Mary Hall’s book about the 1903 Centennial Celebration of the Incorporation of Marlborough, Connecticut. Richmond was an invited guest to the celebration, and addressed the crowd about his memories of Marlborough. He was 83 years old at the time of the celebration, and lived in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
