Birth/Death Dates: October 8, 1887 - February 6, 1950
Birth/Death Location: Indianapolis, Indiana - Marlborough, Connecticut
Notable For: Elmer Thienes was pastor of the Marlborough Congregational Church for 32 years (1918-1950), as well as various executive offices of the Hartford County Y.M.C.A. (1918-1950). He founded Camp Woodstock, and directed its activities for 25 years.
