Library Cards
A valid library card is your passport to borrowing books, CDs, DVDs, videos, books on
compact discs and more. Dont have a card? Just bring something with your name and
Marlborough address and we will be happy to issue you one. If you live outside of
Marlborough, please go to your local library in the town in which you reside to get a
card.
Loan Periods
Most items are loaned for three weeks. Exceptions are DVDs and videos which can be
borrowed for two days and magazines and CD roms which are loaned for one week. Renewal of
materials may either be done in person, or by telephone. Overdue materials are subject to
a daily fine.
Renew Your Library Materials
Library materials may be renewed once if no one else has requested the item. In order
to renew library materials online, you must enter the CONNECT Regional Catalog system:

Click on Individual Catalogs of CONNECT libraries. |

From this list click on Marlborough. This will bring you to the Richmond Library catalog. |

Click on Our Library Catalog. |

Click on My Account. |

Click on Renew My Materials. |

Enter User ID (your library card barcode) without spaces and PIN (your PIN is CHANGEME unless you have changed it)

Click on List Charged Items. |

Select items to renew by clicking in check boxes to left of title. |

Click on Renew Select Items. |
|
Review Summary Screen. |
|
Note which items renewed, then click OK. |

From Hartford, take Exit 13 from Rt. 2. Turn right at the end of the ramp onto Route 66, then left at the traffic light onto South Main Street. The next road off of South Main
Street on your right is School Drive, about 1/4 mile from the traffic light. The Library is the first driveway on the left. |

From Norwich, take Exit 13 from Rt. 2. Turn left at the end of the ramp onto Route 66 and proceed as above. |
